Congratulations to Carla Hananiah who is a current finalist in the 2011 Waverley Art Prize.
The Waverley Woollahra Arts Centre and Waverley Council established the Waverley Art Prize in 1985 and it has been held annually ever since. There is a judging panel of three art professionals and the Waverley Art Prize is open to artists from all over Australia.
This years judging panel included Ann Thomson (Artist), Larry McDonald (Charles Hewitt Gallery), Guy Maestri (Artist), Councillor Sally Betts (Mayor of Waverley).
Finalists in the prize will be exhibited at Waverly Woollahra Art School from Thursday 7 – Sunday 17 July 2011.
