“Being in the land at dawn and dusk is a spiritual experience for me. Referencing historical and contemporary notions of sublime, I am interested in capturing a romantic and spiritual landscape with an emphasis on the drama of colour and movement in an ever-changing sky. The psalms influence the titles of this poetry of place.” – Carla Hananiah (2011)
