Congratulations to Nigel Harrison who is a finalist in the 2010 Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize.
The $10,000 prize will this year be judged by John Kaldor AM (Principal of Kaldor Public Art Projects), Monica McMahon (Curator - University of Western Sydney) and Glenn Barkley (Curator - Museum of Contemporary Art).
In speaking about his work Artereal curator Barbara Dowse says: "Nigel Harrison uses sculpture as a medium to explore the body’s neurological pathways and the universal force and energy that connects, transforms and renews life.
He seeks to reveal the innate beauty in the hidden internal systems and inner workings of the brain and to explore its parallels with the tubes, networks and technology of allied engineering or electronics systems."
The Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize will be announced on Friday 22 October.
