Congratulations to Liam Benson and Claude Jones, both of whom are finalists in the 2011 Hazelhurst Art Award for works on paper.
The exhibition of selected entries displays a diverse range of paper media including pencil drawings, charcoal, ink, three dimensional works, oil, acrylic, gouache and watercolour, photography, printmaking and video. The award selection panellists included Anne Ryan, curator of Australian Prints from the Art Gallery of New South Wales and Paul Williams, winner of the 2009 Local Artist Prize, Hazelhurst Award. The selected entries will be judged by Ben Quilty, winner of the Archibald Prize 2011.
The exhibition runs from 8 July 2011 - 14 August 2011.
