The Motel Sisters_A Yarn With Brendan Carn_2011_video still

From 22 November - 13 December 2012,  Alaska Projects will be running their final 2012 exhibition, Passing Parade. Curated by Joel Mu and featuring four artists and one artist-collaboration, Passing Parade focuses on aspects of human nature that are marginal or 'below normal' relations.

The artist-collaboration exhibiting are The Motel Sisters, whom are an ongoing performative/inter-arts collaboration between Liam Benson and Naomi Oliver, since 2004.

"The Motel Sisters are two anti-socialite contemporary artists working from their studio in Parramatta. Their work deals with media intervention, larrikinism, pop culture, Western Sydney and youth identity." - Joel Mu, curator of Passing Parade

Alaska Projects is located at 9A Elizabeth Bay Rd, Elizabeth Bay NSW
Open Thurs-Fri 6-8pm and Sat-Sun 1-6pm
