Sneak preview of Anna Carey's new models in progress
From 23 November 2013, Penrith Regional Gallery will be exhibiting a group show Holiday + Memory.
"On show in the main Gallery are the works of twenty-nine visual artists, across various mediums including photography, painting, moving image and installation. The work includes the iconic beach images from Max Dupain, Anne Zahalka, and Narelle Autio, nostalgic homes and landscapes by Chris O’Doherty aka Reg Mombassa and Noel McKenna and vibrant contemporary works by Mini Graff, Joanna Lamb and Anna Carey."
Members of the public are also called to share their own memories of summer and holiday, via the Holiday + Memory blog. Over 200 photographs were submitted to the Gallery's public call-out for holiday snapshots, and they can be viewed on the community slideshow outside the main Gallery space.
Holiday + Memory runs until 23 February 2014.
