A huge congratulations to Liam Benson, winner of the Arts Section of the 2014 Champions of the West initiative.
Benson was awarded the grant for his ‘I Adorn Myself’ project - a community art project encompassing female participants who will investigate the importance of their individual cultural legacy and the significance of this identity within the broader community.
The project will comprise of creative workshops that will bring various women from the diverse Western Sydney community to engage with each other through conversation and art making.
