From 2 December 2012 - 13 January 2013, Anna Carey's Mirage series will be exhibiting at the Queensland Centre of Photography.
"My work explores the spatial experiences I encounter within my immediate urban environment, which is the transient city of the Gold Coast. Space is not represented as a static sight but a place to be transformed encouraging one to generate dreams." - Anna Carey
In conjunction with the exhibition opening, QCP in partnership with Pimco, will be hosting the launch of Anna Carey's self-titled publication. The publication will feature a catalogue of her works, accompanied with essays by Alexandra Brown and Andrew Leach.
The exhibition Opening Night and Publication Launch for Mirage will be held on Saturday 1 December 2012, from 5-8pm at Queensland Centre of Photography, Cnr of Cordelia and Russell Streets, South Brisbane.
