Last week, we were excited to announce that Hyun-Hee Lee had won the 2012 John Coburn Emerging Artist Award.
Hyun-Hee was awarded a prestigious prize of $5000 for her work Homage, which relates to her conversion from Buddhism to Catholicism, and the respect and gratitude she has for both religions.
In the video interview conducted by the Blake Prize, featured above, Hyun-Hee discusses her award winning work, and the cultural influences behind her practice.
